Accept a quote safely

Quote acceptance is a transaction, not only a visual status change.

Environment-aware guidance

Exact buttons and available actions can vary with company plan, role permissions and enabled capabilities. Stoneware workflow rules and server-side checks remain authoritative.

Validation

A blank or zero-value quote must never be accepted. Customer, totals and inventory references should be revalidated.

Stock check

Exact slab/remnant availability must be checked again at acceptance.

Commitment

Where physical stone is involved, acceptance should create or confirm the canonical reservation/allocation workflow under locking/concurrency protection.

Failure

If the stock is no longer available, fail clearly and keep the quote/customer history intact for revision or alternate selection.
