Acceptable Use Policy

Security, anti-abuse and authorised-use rules for Stoneware.

This Acceptable Use Policy protects Stoneware, its customers, users and infrastructure. It applies to the website, application, APIs, integrations and other Stoneware services provided by Chasvi Co Limited.

1. Lawful and authorised use

You may use Stoneware only for lawful business purposes and only within the company, permissions, API scopes and entitlements assigned to you.

2. Prohibited conduct

  • Accessing or attempting to access another customer’s data, account or systems without authorisation.
  • Bypassing authentication, permissions, plan entitlements, rate limits, API controls or security safeguards.
  • Uploading, transmitting or distributing malware, malicious code or content intended to disrupt systems.
  • Using Stoneware to infringe intellectual property, privacy, confidentiality or other legal rights.
  • Using Stoneware to send unlawful unsolicited commercial electronic messages, deceptive communications or abusive content.
  • Automated scraping, probing, scanning or load generation that materially degrades the service or is not authorised by us.
  • Reverse engineering or attempting to derive source code except to the limited extent that applicable law expressly permits despite this restriction.
  • Sharing credentials or operational tokens in a way that defeats user accountability or company scoping.
  • Submitting information that you do not have authority or a lawful basis to process.

3. API use

API users must follow the published authentication, scope, pagination, rate-limit, idempotency and retry rules. Operational tokens must remain server-side and must not be embedded in public browser code or distributed where unauthorised users could obtain them.

4. Security testing

Do not perform penetration testing, vulnerability scanning or other intrusive security testing against production Stoneware systems without prior written authorisation. Good-faith vulnerability reports should use the contact or security channel made available by Chasvi Co Limited.

5. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected misuse and may restrict, suspend or terminate affected access where reasonably necessary to protect the service, comply with law or prevent harm. Where practical and safe, we will work with the affected customer to resolve the issue.
